Want to Submit?

If you're an artist, writer or anything in between -- submit your work to be considered for Issue 01! Send us your best interpretation of our prompt Sensual. Whether subtle or more flagrant, we'd love to see it. Avangeline Review is a small press publisher managed by a small team, so we're a great place to submit if you're a newbie creative.

Submission Protocall

Avangeline Review considers itself to be experimental and highly accepting of up and coming writers. We accept genre and non-genre work including fiction, poetry, non-fiction, prose, art, photography, recipes, lyrics, and any other form of art you find fitting to Issue 01's prompt Sensual. However, no generative ai is permitted, and all work will be scanned for use of ai and immediately rejected if suspected to be non-human made. Avangeline Review encourages avant-garde or unconventionally formatted, written or creative work. As long as a human made it; we want to see it.

All work shall be emailed to our head editor Eliza Kent via avangelinereview@gmail.com, with your name, genre and piece title in the email. (i.e. Ruby Erskine, Poetry, "Roses are Red"). Please have a concise bio outlining your experience, previous publications/accomplishments, education, and relevant social media handles. These factors will not determine your work's acceptance.
